- If children, ages 4-6, are taught the alphabet then bilingual children will know the alphabet with higher accuracy than other children.
- dependent: the % accuracy of the alphabet ; independent: that the child understands the language ; control: the children ages 4-6
- For my eq I wrote: what is the best way to learn a second language? I think this science experiment connects with my eq because im trying to see how well the kids learn a second language. Im also seeing who does well, the bilingual or monolingual child.
- I plan on having two groups one monolingual and the other bilingual but at seperate times I will test the groups. first of all I just want to go over the spanish alphabet, i will just explain the 26 letters and leave the extra out,so they can get a taste of it. Then i will test with a couple note cards a letter of the alphabet to see if they remember or not. I will do the same for both 3 times at different days to see if the kids still remember.
