b. I completed 30 hours of work in think together. I helped a class of kids ranging from kindergarten to 2nd grade. What I had to do is basically help the kids with their homework or anything that they would do. Like doing math or reading and things they wouldnt understand. I also had to get the supplies needed for the class. When I wasn't needed, I would ask other teachers If they needed help.

Even though it doesnt seem suitable for my topic, I found ways to make it work. Like for instance, I helped the kids with their homework and they were working on their vowles and how they are used in everyday talk. Since there's bilingual kids, that also helped out on my project. There's many kids who have a hard time understanding what each thing means. Like the vowles, they were also working on the short and long sounds which is a bit tough for them becuase the kids wouldnt hear them or just didn't understand. I also leaded a small group of kids in drawing according to what the riddle says and had to fill in the blanks to find out what to draw.

It helped me by getting my first answer which is practice in writting as much as you would do in speaking it. Many of the kids that I helped out know how to talk (english) but when it comes to reading, their voice tone changes, they read slower, and or can't read up to the level they should be reading at. Their writting is also a big part because some say they don't know how to spell a word when they know it but don't make the connection. This also affects some of the bilinguals because they can mix up words and end up talking spanglish sometimes.
