As going through language acquisition as my senior topic, I've come across things i would never think of. Like for example the first time i was learning to speak or learning a second language. The very first time I learned to read and when i actually learned the spanish alphabet. As I grew older, i had to translate for my parents or people that asked me for directions or things like that. When my mom was learning english she would tell me to help her out in pronunciating the words and i couldnt help her because i would laugh too much. But at the same time she would laugh at me when i would say things in spanish that i couldnt say right. Today i want to learn different languages and i know pronunciating will be something hard to get at. So for my product i would say being in the learners shoes and knowing what it feels like. I kind of experienced it with learning the numbers in italian because the c is not pronounced as how we pronounce it in english and knowing how to say it correctly. And i know that it will take a while to get used to the language and i will have to go through that if i want to learn another language which i do really want to.
